The Drive AutoFold Elite Foling Mobility Scooter is designed to be lightweight and easy to store. At 27 kgs it is one of the lighter automatic folding scooters available. The scooter folds at the press of a button on its remote control, and the folding process takes about 15 seconds, reducing effort when placing the scooter in a vehicle or storing at home.
Comfort is addressed with both front and rear suspension to help smooth the ride over typical pavements and thresholds. The seat and backrest are generously padded for everyday use. The armrests fold up and are removable to make transfers in and out of the seat easier.
The scooter uses an all-new delta tiller that can be adjusted for both height and angle. This allows the rider or carer to set a comfortable driving position. Controls include a digital, light-up LCD screen and an LED front headlight for improved visibility in low light.
Power comes from a 25.2 V 10 Ah lithium-ion battery described as airline-friendly. On a full charge, the scooter will provide an impressive range of up to 9.3 miles (15 km) and a top speed of 4 mph. The scooter is fitted with puncture-proof tyres and rear anti-tip wheels for extra stability.
